Tim Hart reports, “To celebrate the 2018 All Stars Cricket programme, a special All Stars cricket activity evening took place on Friday the 22nd of June. The event was set up to run in conjunction with the senior Western Warriors versus Caledonian Highlanders inter-regional T20 Blitz fixture – the match taking place at Titwood (Clydesdale CC) and the All Stars Cricket event immediately across the road at Hutchesons’ Grammar School. This also enabled the All Stars who attended (24, from five different West Region delivery centres) to enjoy an extra special ‘Money can’t buy experience’ on the evening – a question and answer session (and autograph opportunity) with Cricket Scotland’s National Head Coach, Grant Bradburn.

“The evening would have been as successful as it was without the help of Rosy Ryan (Cricket Scotland’s West Region Women’s and Girls’ Development Officer), Grant and the volunteers from Clydesdale CC who have been helping to deliver their All Stars Cricket programme this summer – and I would like to thank these people and all the All Stars (and their parents and guardians) who attended the event.”
