Tim Hart writes, “There is an upcoming ‘Coach Support Worker’ course, the details of which are:

Date: Sunday, 1 October 2017;
Venue: Hutchesons’ Grammar School (G41 4NW);
Time: 10am to 4.30pm;
Cost: £20.

The course is designed to help to develop your confidence and equip attendees with the knowledge, understanding and skills to support a qualified coach during coaching sessions. It will help them create a great environment for coaching to take place in.  There is no formal assessment, but candidates must be sixteen years old and need to have a PVG Scheme Membership* and a Safeguarding & Protecting Children certificate* to enable their certificate to be released after the course.”
