Tim Hart writes, “The Glasgow Academy have become the latest school to progress to the semi-finals of the west section in the Cricket Scotland National Secondary Schools Cup.  They hosted and defeated The High School of Glasgow, in a reduced over match.  The High School of Glasgow were 63 all out in the final over of their innings – with Lewis Oliver (Glasgow Accies CC) taking 3 for 7.  The Glasgow Academy reached their target for the loss of just two wickets, in the final over of their reply – with Oliver completing his fine performance, with 23*.  They will now travel to face Holyrood Secondary School in the semi-final.”
