Tim Hart writes, “The first tie has been completed in the west regional qualifying section in the CityLets National Secondary Schools Cup.  The tie saw Wallace Hall Academy (Dumfries) host the High School of Glasgow (‘HSoG’). Batting first, the hosts were bowled out for 40, in the fifteenth over, with John Greene taking 3 for 1. In reply, The HSoG got to their target for the loss of one wicket, in the fifth over. The HSoG will once again be ‘on the road’, as they prepare to travel to the winners of the match between The Glasgow Academy and Eastwood High School.”
