Under 10 indoor Kwik Cricket

Tim Hart, Cricket Scotland‘s West Regional Participation Manager, writes, “I am delighted to be able to announce that there are seven clubs – Clydesdale CC, East Renfrewshire CC, Helensburgh CC, Irvine CC, Poloc CC, Uddingston CC and West of Scotland CC – who have entered this winter’s inaugural Under 10 indoor Kwik Cricket programme.  And, there are six sets of fixtures before the end of the year.

“Each week three clubs will play in a round robin format, so each club gets two games on any day. With an odd number of entrants, and over the six-week period until the end of the year, some clubs will get two fixture days and some clubs three fixture days.

“A schedule of the rules is online and these have been kept as simple as practical. (The pitch length may need adjusted slightly – to match up with any lines on the sports hall floor!)  If each “host club” could let me know how many players each team has involved after the festival they host, that would be very much appreciated. (Match results do not, however, require to be reported as the aim of the programme is very much to get people playing more cricket and having fun – and I’m sure the players will know who has won each match anyway!)  Clubs should also sign for the booking they are “hosting” each week when they arrive.”

The full schedule of fixtures is online here.
