Tim Hart writes, “Following the successful Western Warriors Under 14 programme of 2017-18, which featured a winter training programme and summer fixtures, a Western Warriors Under 14 programme will be running again this winter.  The programme remains focused on player development – and we are inviting applications from players who are interested in being considered for the 2018–19 Under 14 programme.

“The Warriors have been tracking player performance during the 2018 season. However, this is not a totally comprehensive process. Therefore, we are inviting players to submit an ‘Application of interest’. Interested players should complete the form and return it by 12 noon on Wednesday, 7 November 2018. (Please note there is no guarantee that players who have been involved in previous programmes will be offered a place in this year’s programme and so players previously involved in Warriors programmes still need to apply.)

“Following this, there will be a trial session on Sunday, 18 November 2018.  (Please note, there is no guarantee that all players who submit an application of interest will be invited to the trial.)   After the trial process, the squad will be announced – with training sessions taking place at Hutchesons’ Grammar School in Glasgow, on Sunday mornings, throughout the winter.
